SPOILERS FOR SEASON 1 AND 7 OF OUAT!
I'm currently half-way through Season 7 of OUAT for the third time. Drizella said that she was going to do better than Regina when she casts her curse. But thinking back to Season 1, I think that Regina did better than Drizella. My main reason is to do with how many people were awake during that curse.
I don't count Henry (S1) or Lucy (S7) because they weren't awake. Henry was never actually part of the first curse, and Lucy only believed that fairytales were real, she didn't actually remember anything from before. Now to count how many people were awake during each curse:
SEASON ONE'S CURSE (REGINA):
Regina
Rumplestiltskin
Jefferson
August
Graham (briefly)
TOTAL (5)
SEASON SEVEN'S CURSE (DRIZELLA):
Tremaine
Drizella
Gothel
Rumplestiltskin
Hansel
Dr. Facilier
Regina
Zelena
Alice (occasionally)
Naveen
TOTAL (10)
GOALS:
Regina in First Curse - Regina was the one who cast the first curse, so obviously she didn't want it broken, so she was no help in breaking it.
Rumplestiltskin in First Curse - He did want it broken, but because Emma was (lets be honest) so stubborn, it was hard to. Besides, he was doing it indirectly, pulling all the strings and what-not.
Jefferson in First Curse - Though awake, he did nothing to try and break it.
August in First Curse - August, or Pinocchio, was never part of the first curse, but I am counting him anyway because he did remember his fairytale life. He, like Rumplestiltskin, had trouble with breaking it.
Graham in First Curse - Graham did get his memory's back before the curse broke, but Regina crushed his heart immediately after.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Tremaine in Last Curse - Tremaine, cursed to think she cast it, didn't do anything to try and break it.
Drizella in Last Curse - Drizella was the matermind during the curse (or so she believed). She didn't want it to be broken, so no help there.
Gothel in Last Curse - Gothel, being as powerful as she was, didn't need the curse to be broken so that she could use magic. Gothel wanted to do something else, the curse meant nothing to her.
Rumplestiltskin in Last Curse - This time, Rumplestiltskin's main goal was not getting the curse broken, but he did need it to be. Rumplestiltskin was more interested in other things. Near the end though, Rumplestiltskin came to the good side to help with Regina and Zelena's goals of breaking the curse.
Hansel in Last Curse - Hansel could care less whether or not the curse was broken, he just wanted revenge on Zelena.
Dr. Facilier in Last Curse - Facilier didn't really care much about the curse, he had other goals.
Regina in Last Curse - Woken up by Drizella, she remembered everything and started searching for a way to break it without Henry dy!ng.
Zelena in Last Curse - Zelena was woken up by Regina, and after being persuaded, came to help break the curse.
Alice in Last Curse - On occasion, when not taking her 'medicine', she remembered bits and pieces of fairytale life. She did want (not a main goal though) the curse broken.
Naveen in Last Curse - Later awakened by Facilier, though breaking the curse was not a goal really.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Regina's curse lasted longer than Drizella's as well, and there was a equal amount of people wanting it broken (main goal). But during Drizella's, those with that main goal had more power than in the last one. Regina, Rumplestiltskin (going to count him because of near the end of the curse), and Zelena are three of the most powerful (though they didn't have magic during it, they still did good in trying to break it).
In the first curse, Rumplestiltskin and August were the only 'awake' people who were trying to actually break it. Henry was too of course, but as I said earlier, he and Lucy (S7) are not going to count in this. While August did do his best efforts to have Emma believe, he wasn't entirely succesful (it was Henry who got Emma to believe).
Half of the main cast in Season Seven were awake, and personally I think that is not good if the curse it to remain there. The First Curse broke during Season One, Episode Twenty Two, second curse breaking in Season Seven, Episode Twenty. Though not by much, First Curse lasted longer than Last Curse.
Also, keep in mind this is how I see and think of it, (How I viewed the show and its events)
But what do you think, which curse was 'better' (interpret however)? Regina's or Drizella's?
After Season Six, suddenly Henry is not with Violet anymore.
What happened?
I feel the show totally skipped over those two.

Sometime I think it’s really sad how underestimated and underutilized the blue fairy was, like she literally granted a wish that capable of making all the realms to break out in song. And I would’ve loved to see what blue in the world Issac created could do because she wasn’t bound by light magic 🪄
I JUST FINISHED EPISODE 22 OF SEASON SEVEN
IT WAS SO GOOD!!!!!!
She killed Neal and had Robins baby. Why do we like her?
I was watching “Good Form” and I noticed in the flashbacks that the place where Killian and his brother came from looks like a completely different era then Rumplestiltskins early days. So is hook originally from a different land?
SPOILERS FOR SEASON SEVEN FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T YET FINISHED THE SHOW!!!!!!
My number one favorite character in OUAT is Rumplestiltskin. In Season Seven, every time I watch Episode 22, when Rumplestiltskin dies (I've watched the show 2 times through now) I actually shed a few tears.
I almost never cry during a movie or TV show, only being a total of 7 times in my whole life (won't say how old I am because that is my personal information, so I'll just say 7 is really low amount for all the 'sad' things I've watched on the TV).
But two for one scene is just crazy when it comes to me. Here is a question though:
What in OUAT, if at all, has made you cry?
(Whether it is just a few tears or a bunch, doesn't matter how much).
So, we can see that Henry ages ten years while in Storybrooke because he is not a victim of the Dark Curse, and when he notices he is the only one who doesn’t age, he realizes something is up. This makes it very clear that people who are not victims of the Dark Curse are not kept from aging by it, even if they are in Storybrooke. But also, we see that Ingrid comes to the Land Without Magic via a door from The Apprentice, yet she claims she stopped aging simply because she was in Storybrooke? Was she lying? Or is this a plot hole? Or is it possible she was caught in Peter Pan’s Dark Curse and was later a victim of the Dark Curse cast by Snow White and David? But if that is the case then she should have aged 28 years during the time of Regina’s Dark Curse.
Below is what I basically say during each of the seven songs:
1 (Powerful Magic) - Snow, Charming, you be putting too much faith in love!
2 (Love Doesn't Stand a Chance) - Regina, you be putting too little faith in love!
3 (Revenge is Gonna be Mine) - Love the song Hooky! Hate the whole wanting revenge though. Leave Rumple alone!!!
4 (Wicked Always Wins) - Zelena is awesome, I like her...but I hate her...! But the song is awesome...I dunno what to say!!!
5 (Charming's vs Evil Queen) - Their arguing...but their singing...their singuing!!! I'm not taking either side though in this argument, both sides idea's suck.
6 (Emma's Theme) - No, just no.
7 (A Happy Beginning) - Good song..why isn't Belle here? I understand why Rumple wouldn't, but surely Belle would be here...? Snow brought baby Neal with her to this wedding, so why can't Belle bring baby Gideon? Or is she here but offscreen...? I'm so confused!! Good song though...
What is you all's opinion on each song, what do you usually say about it?
